Think Pink!
Last Saturday was “Think Pink” day in Greensboro and we attended an event sponsored by Skirt! Magazine to raise money for breast cancer awareness. It was a very special day, and we enjoyed meeting more than 100 people who stopped by our table to say “Hi!”, and learn about our practice.
White Teeth for Everyone
We offered a drawing for a complementary new patient assessment and professional teeth whitening and Dr. Hyman donated a ZOOM! Teeth whitening procedure to the event. We also offered participants the opportunity to gauge the brightness of their smiles. We found that for the most part, folks had very nice white teeth, and those who didn’t were very interested in finding out how they could make their smiles brighter. This informal survey confirms what we know to be true in the world of dentistry – achieving whiter teeth is the number one cosmetic dentistry goal for most people.
Do You Have a Dental Home?
The other observation we made is, that while most of the people in attendance (and the event attracted primarily women) had a dentist, very few of them considered their dental practice to be their “dental home”. We explained to them what this concept means at Mark E. Hyman Cosmetic and Family Dentistry.
