Philips ZOOM!® Teeth Whitening
The American Dental Association suggests that any patient considering a course of teeth whitening consult with their dentist. We offer several types of whitening procedures. Our professional in-home whitening procedure involves peroxide-containing whiteners in gel form that are applied to a custom-fitted “tray” that is precisely aligned to your teeth. The duration of the treatments may last up to two weeks or until your teeth have reached a certain level of whiteness. The success of this procedure can be impressive if you follow the directions for use, and the type of discoloration is not resistance to bleaching
Philips ZOOM!® teeth whitening is one of the most effective tooth whitening systems available. In just a single visit to our practice you can improve the brightness of your teeth by six to 10 shades. Convenient and safe, Philips ZOOM!® teeth whitening involves the use of a specially designed lamp that activates the whitening properties of a hydrogen-peroxide-based gel. The Philips ZOOM!® teeth whitening gel is first applied to the enamel of your teeth. The treated teeth are then exposed to the Philips ZOOM!® whitening lamp. The whitening procedure is followed by a brief fluoride treatment. With touch-ups and routine care available at our practice, the effects of Philips ZOOM!® teeth whitening can last indefinitely.
