Case 809 Full Mouth Crowns: Crowns

Patient had not visited dentist for over twenty years due to extreme dental phobia to the point of seizing when seeing needles, due to a very bad childhood experience. Through sedation dentistry and general anesthesia administered in the hospital operating suite, the patient received 24 crowns, underwent several extractions and had periodontal work on all four quadrants due to gum disease from neglect. She was elated with her beautiful new white smile and now visits the practice for her routine check ups with the help of Valium and listening to music on headphones.
